## Why it matters

Bookkeepcon is the annual conference of the Institute of Certified New Zealand Bookkeepers and the leading bookkeeping event in New Zealand, with 233 registrations and 24 exhibitors at the 2026 edition in Napier. Unlike the CA ANZ conferences, which run largely online, Bookkeepcon is built around an in-person exhibition floor and a gala dinner where the ICNZB Excellence Awards are presented. The 2026 edition added a livestream for the first time, so remote members could join the main programme.
