## Why it matters

The ICB Australian Bookkeepers Summit is the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers' annual national event, held in Brisbane in 2024 and Melbourne in 2025 before moving to the Adelaide Convention Centre for 29 to 30 October 2026, the year ICB marks its 20th anniversary. It is the annual counterpart to the biennial ABN Bookkeeper Event, and pairs the Summit with the Luca Awards bookkeeping awards dinner. Third-party listings put entry from AUD 549 for two days of CPD and networking.

## Who attends

Certified bookkeepers, BAS agents, accountants and finance professionals, drawn nationally rather than from one state given the Summit's rotating host city. ICB's own Roadshow and network meetings feed many members into the Summit each October.

## Past editions

- 2025: Melbourne, Victoria; Referenced as 'the 2025 ICB Summit & LUCA Awards in Melbourne'; exact 2025 dates were not found on a reachable organiser page.
- 2024: Nov 11-12, 2024; Brisbane, Queensland; Coincided with Global Bookkeeping Week; the same organiser article describes the Luca Awards Presentations and Dinner on the evening of 11 November 2024 as a debut, so 2024 may be the first Summit held in its current two-day format. That is an inference, not a stated first_held year.
