# Is Kolleno worth it? An honest Kolleno review

What Kolleno costs, what you get for the money, what its own pricing page and terms say it does not include, and which businesses get their money's worth.

**Kolleno is worth it for a mid-market or enterprise finance team with a real receivables volume, several people in accounts receivable, and an ERP such as NetSuite, SAP, MS Business Central or Oracle Fusion. It costs $650 per user a month on BusinessPay and $1,245 per user a month on Business Plus, with lower rates on annual billing.**

**It is hard to justify for a small business. BusinessPay is the plan for turnover under £1m, and one user costs $6,540 a year on annual billing without workflow automation. The default contract also runs for 24 months.**

**In short**

- **Price:** $650 per user a month on BusinessPay ($545 billed annually) and $1,245 on Business Plus ($995 billed annually). Enterprise tiers are priced by sales.
- **Rating:** 4.9 from 117 reviews on G2 and 5.0 from 18 on the Xero App Store.
- **Trial:** Kolleno states no trial terms on its pricing page, Xero listing or help centre. There is no free plan.
- **Main limits:** a per-user price with seat minimums, no workflow automation on BusinessPay, auto-reconciliation only from Enterprise, and a 24-month default term.
- **Alternative:** Paidnice from £49 / $69 a month, priced by invoice volume.

## Is Kolleno worth it? The short verdict

Kolleno is a London receivables platform. It lists on the Xero App Store, where all 18 of its reviews give it 5 stars, and G2 rates it 4.9 from 117 reviews. Its plans run from a single-ledger setup on Xero or QuickBooks up to custom ERP connections for groups above £1bn turnover.

The question is fit. G2 describes its buyers as finance teams at mid-market and enterprise B2B companies with meaningful receivables volume. The table shows when the price makes sense and when it does not.

| Kolleno is worth it if | Kolleno is harder to justify if |
|---|---|
| Your ledger is NetSuite, SAP, MS Business Central or Oracle Fusion | You are a small business on Xero or QuickBooks with one person chasing |
| You run several entities or regions from one tool | You need workflow automation but your turnover is under £1m |
| Reconciliation is a large part of your receivables work | You want to cancel or change tools inside two years |
| The per-user price is small against the cash your team collects | You want a late fee or interest policy run from the tool |

## What does Kolleno cost?

Kolleno charges per user. Each plan sets a minimum number of users, a turnover band and an invoice band. Prices are in US dollars.

| Plan | Monthly, per user | Billed yearly, per user a month | Minimum users | Turnover and invoices | SMS and calls |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BusinessPay | $650 | $545 | 1 | Under £1m, under 100 invoices | 100 each |
| Business Plus | $1,245 | $995 | 2 | £1m to £100m, under 300 invoices | 200 each |
| Enterprise | Speak to sales | Speak to sales | 3 | £100m to £1bn, over 1,000 invoices | 400 each |
| Enterprise Plus | Speak to sales | Speak to sales | 4 | Above £1bn, over 1,000 invoices | 600 each |

One user on BusinessPay costs $6,540 a year on annual billing. The smallest Business Plus account has two users, at $2,490 a month or $1,990 a month on annual billing. That is $23,880 a year.

Source: Kolleno's pricing page. Annual billing lowers the per-user rate by about 16% on BusinessPay and 20% on Business Plus. Full detail in [Kolleno pricing](/reviews/kolleno-pricing/).

## What do you get for the money?

The lower two plans connect to one ledger account. The Enterprise plans add ERP connections, more entities and more support.

- **Ledgers.** BusinessPay connects to Xero, QuickBooks and Sage Intacct. Business Plus adds Clio. Enterprise connects to NetSuite, MS Business Central, SAP and Oracle Fusion, and Enterprise Plus to a custom ERP.
- **Business Plus tools.** An invoice dashboard, customer portfolios, team collaboration, reporting and analytics, workflow automation and AI agent support.
- **Auto-reconciliation.** Listed on Enterprise and Enterprise Plus.
- **AI features that shipped.** Kolleno released AI-detected promises to pay and an AI cash flow forecast in November 2025, and AI email reply drafts and customer timeline summaries in December 2025.
- **Onboarding.** BusinessPay is self-onboarding. Business Plus includes 3 hours, Enterprise 6 hours and Enterprise Plus 8 hours or more, with a dedicated customer success manager.
- **Security.** Kolleno lists SOC 1 Type II, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001.

## What do Kolleno's users say?

Kolleno's ratings are high on both sites we checked.

| Site | Rating | Reviews |
|---|---|---|
| [G2](https://www.g2.com/products/kolleno/reviews) | 4.9 | 117 |
| [Xero App Store](https://apps.xero.com/uk/app/kolleno) | 5.0 | 18 |

These scores come from teams that chose Kolleno. The next two sections cover whether a per-user price fits a team of your size.

## What are Kolleno's limits?

Limits 1 to 5 come from Kolleno's own pricing page and terms of service. Check each one against how your team works before you buy.

1. **Every user adds to the bill.** Each plan is priced per user, with a minimum of 1, 2, 3 or 4 users (Kolleno pricing page). A team of three on BusinessPay costs $1,950 a month.
2. **No workflow automation on BusinessPay.** Workflow automation starts on Business Plus, which needs two users and turnover from £1m (Kolleno pricing page).
3. **Invoice and entity caps on the lower plans.** BusinessPay covers under 100 invoices and Business Plus under 300. Both allow 1 ERP account, 1 entity and 1 region (Kolleno pricing page).
4. **Auto-reconciliation starts on Enterprise.** The feature list shows it on Enterprise and Enterprise Plus only (Kolleno pricing page).
5. **A 24-month default term.** The initial term is 24 months and renews for 12 months unless you give 90 days' notice. Fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable, and they can rise at renewal for usage and inflation (Kolleno terms of service).
6. **No late fee feature found.** We found no late fee or interest feature in Kolleno's documentation.

## Is Kolleno worth it for a small business?

For most small businesses, no. BusinessPay is the plan for turnover under £1m. One user costs $650 a month, or $6,540 a year on annual billing, and the plan has no workflow automation. A 24-month default term puts that commitment at about $13,000 before any extra users.

A small business can get value from Kolleno if one person handles a large volume of payments and reconciliation, and the time saved is worth more than the fee. For a business that mainly needs reminders sent on time, a tool priced by invoice volume costs far less.

## What are the alternatives to Kolleno?

These tools do not charge per user and suit a business that finds Kolleno's price or contract a poor fit.

### 2. Chaser
