Why it matters

CPA Congress is CPA Australia's annual flagship conference for accounting and finance professionals, with a planned 10,000 attendees in 2026, roughly 9,000 joining virtually. It ran over four days in Canberra in 2024, on the Gold Coast from 14-16 October 2025 and at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 20-22 October 2026. As a professional-body event it covers leadership, technology and business strategy for the whole profession, where a vendor event covers one ecosystem.

Who attends

CPA Australia members and the wider accounting and finance profession, from public practitioners to business finance leaders, drawn from Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the UK. The organiser plans for roughly 9,000 of the 10,000 attendees in 2026 to join virtually.
