South Africa's largest finance profession expo and conference, combining a large exhibition floor of finance and accounting technology vendors with a multi-track CPD programme.
Why it matters
Finance Indaba is CFO South Africa's annual one-day finance conference and expo at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, running since 2016 and drawing 3,000+ finance professionals per the 2026 site. Delegate entry is free, with 2,500 free tickets for the 2026 edition, which makes it the most accessible large finance gathering in Africa, unlike the invitation-only CFO dinners the same organiser runs. Around 50 finance service providers exhibited at the 2022 edition.
Who attends
CFOs, finance directors and finance managers from South African corporates and the public sector, plus the vendors of finance software and services who exhibit. Testimonials on the 2026 site include the CFOs of Nedbank and Microsoft South Africa.

Tickets and opening times
Delegate entry is free, capped at 2,500 free tickets for the 2026 edition, each valued by the organiser at R2,500 ex VAT. Sponsors receive between 50 and 250 complimentary entry tickets depending on package tier, from Silver to Platinum (2026 site). No paid public delegate tier exists.
