Why it matters

NATP runs Tax Forums & Expo in several US cities each fall; the Las Vegas leg returns to Paris Las Vegas on October 21-22, 2026 as a two-day, practitioner-focused event rather than the week-long institutes common elsewhere in this category. Sessions run at the intermediate level and stack up to 16 CPE hours across AFSP, EA, CPA, CRTP and CFP designations. Membership is not required to attend, but it lowers the registration price by roughly 20 percent.

Who attends

Small tax and accounting business owners, typically with two to three employees, focused on tax preparation and consulting; many also offer payroll, bookkeeping, financial planning, insurance or tax representation services.

Tickets and opening times

2026 advance registration: Premium and Professional members USD 340 (rising to USD 440 after September 21, 2026), Basic members USD 404 (rising to USD 523), nonmembers USD 425 (rising to USD 550). Membership is not required to register, though it lowers the price and adds year-round benefits. Optional add-ons include a printed textbook and specialised workshops such as the California Update and Annual Federal Tax Refresher.
