Why it matters
The SMSF Association National Conference is the premier annual event for Australia's self-managed super fund sector, drawing 1,300 in-person and 250 virtual professionals in 2025. The 2027 edition runs 17-19 February with in-person and virtual options, the only confirmed 2027 dates among Australia's major accounting conferences. It is the technical heart of the SMSF calendar, unlike broader events such as CPA Congress, with 54 speakers and 66 sponsors in 2025 and sponsor booths from AUD 30,000 plus GST.

Tickets and opening times
The 2026 fee ladder ran: early bird member $2,245; regional member and member group rate (3+ from one office) $2,115 each; affiliate member $2,575; new member bundle including Associate membership to 31 March 2027 $2,900; CA ANZ member rate $3,087; non-member $3,430. All inc GST. Virtual passes were $1,390 member and $1,825 non-member for a curated 22-hour programme. Early bird closed 5 December 2025, roughly 11 weeks before the event. In-person registration includes full on-demand access.
