HighRadius vs Billtrust (2026): NetSuite, pricing and fit

Two enterprise order-to-cash platforms compared by a publisher with no link to either: what each one does, how each connects to your ERP, and what buyers report paying.

HighRadius and Billtrust both automate accounts receivable for enterprise and large mid-market B2B companies, and both price by quote only. Choose HighRadius for an AI-led suite with credit, deductions and cash application for a shared-services team. Choose Billtrust if delivering invoices into customer AP portals and taking B2B payments is your biggest job.

In short

  • Choose HighRadius if you need credit management, deductions and high-volume cash application in one suite, on SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite.
  • Choose Billtrust if your customers want invoices in their AP portals or as e-invoices, and you want payments and collections on the same platform.
  • Price: neither publishes a price. ERP Research reports $50,000 to $150,000+ a year for HighRadius and $20,000 to $60,000 a year for Billtrust, plus processing fees.
  • Ratings: G2 users rate Billtrust higher (4.4 vs 4.3); Gartner Peer Insights reviewers rate HighRadius higher (4.6 vs 4.3).

You have two vendor demos booked. HighRadius says it has over 1,500 clients, including Adobe and Nestle, and Billtrust names Staples, FedEx and United Rentals. Neither website shows a price, and each vendor publishes pages that say it beats the other. This page puts the facts each one documents in one place, so you can go into both demos with the right questions.

Which one fits your business?

HighRadius fits a large shared-services finance team that handles credit, deductions and cash application, and Billtrust fits a supplier whose customers want invoices in their AP portals.

  • Choose HighRadius if you are an enterprise with a shared-services team that reviews credit, resolves deductions and applies a high volume of cash. HighRadius names SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics and NetSuite among its integrations, and its scope extends to AP, financial close and treasury.
  • Choose Billtrust if your customers require invoices in their own AP portals or in e-invoicing formats such as Peppol, and you want to take payments and run collections on the same platform. Billtrust delivers into more than 260 AP portals and offers a digital lockbox.

Neither vendor states a revenue or invoice floor. Both sell through a demo and a written quote, so ask each one for its smallest current customer on your ERP.

How do HighRadius and Billtrust compare?

Both platforms cover collections, cash application and credit, and both quote prices on request. HighRadius is broader across the Office of the CFO; Billtrust goes deeper on invoice delivery and payments.

"Not shown on the pages opened" means those pages do not document the feature; it may still exist, so ask the vendor. ERP Research grades HighRadius stronger on 16 of 24 capabilities where the two differ, and Billtrust stronger on 8.

How does each connect to your ERP?

HighRadius names NetSuite, SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics on its own home page. Billtrust names no ERP on its home page, and third parties list NetSuite, SAP, Oracle Fusion, Dynamics 365 and Infor.

HighRadius rows come from its home page and the July 2021 Business Wire announcement. Billtrust rows come from its home page and ERP Research. Neither vendor publishes a public list that says, per ERP, whether the connector is built by the vendor, a partner or the customer, so ask.

How well does each connect to NetSuite?

HighRadius documents a NetSuite SuiteApp with Built for NetSuite status, announced in 2021. Billtrust does not name NetSuite on its own pages, so its NetSuite connector is known only from third-party lists.

HighRadius announced in July 2021 that the SuiteApp for its RadiusOne AR product had received Oracle’s Built for NetSuite status (Business Wire, 13 July 2021). A SuiteApp installs inside NetSuite. Ask which HighRadius product your quote covers and whether that SuiteApp is still the connector you would use.

Billtrust says it has "200+ connectors to ERPs, banks, and financial institutions" but names none. ERP Research lists NetSuite among Billtrust’s ERP connections. Ask Billtrust to name the NetSuite connector, say who builds and maintains it, and list the records it syncs.

Two questions apply to both. Ask how often payments and invoice status sync back to NetSuite. For a NetSuite OneWorld account with several subsidiaries, ask for a reference customer on OneWorld. For the SuiteApp question in general, see NetSuite SuiteApp or external AR app.

How much do HighRadius and Billtrust cost?

Neither vendor publishes a price; both quote after a demo. ERP Research reports $50,000 to $150,000+ a year for HighRadius and $20,000 to $60,000 a year for Billtrust.

All figures are last reported by the named third party; both vendors keep current prices hidden. Ask each for a written quote that names the modules, invoice volume, entities, implementation fee and any payment processing rates.

HighRadius also offers an outcome-based option. Its announcement says clients pay "$0 in Implementation fees, $0 in Subscription fees until Go Live", then a share of the savings realized. Ask how savings are measured before you sign, and Billtrust’s cost shape differs: a subscription plus fees on payments it processes, so model your payment volume as well as invoice volume. See ERP pricing compared for the ledger side of the budget.

What do reviewers say?

G2 users rate Billtrust 4.4 from 510 reviews and HighRadius 4.3 from 237. Gartner Peer Insights reviewers rate HighRadius 4.6 from about 150 ratings and Billtrust 4.3 from 147.

G2 and Gartner figures come from each site’s search results and may have changed; open each link for the current score. HighRadius’s G2 figure is for "HighRadius Accounts Receivables" and its Gartner figure for "HighRadius Accounts Receivable Software". Billtrust’s Gartner figure is for "Billtrust Unified AR".

HighRadius’s Capterra score rests on 13 reviews, so one review moves it. Read reviews from companies on your ERP and at your invoice volume before you weigh the stars.

Why do G2 and Gartner rank them differently?

G2 and Gartner Peer Insights draw on different reviewer pools and rate differently named products, so the two sites can rank the same pair in opposite order.

Gartner Peer Insights verifies each reviewer, and both listings there have about 150 ratings. On G2, Billtrust has more than twice as many reviews as HighRadius, so the two averages rest on different groups of buyers. G2’s comparison page also scores individual features; a three-way G2 comparison scores Billtrust 8.9 on cash application (26 reviews) against 7.2 for HighRadius (56 reviews), per G2 search results; both samples are small.

Each vendor quotes the site that favors it. HighRadius’s own comparison pages cite the Gartner scores. Weigh the reviews written by companies of your size on your ERP, not the overall star rating.

Who owns HighRadius and Billtrust?

Billtrust is owned by the private equity firm EQT, and HighRadius is independent and venture-backed.

  • Billtrust: EQT bought Billtrust in an all-cash deal worth about $1.7 billion, announced in September 2022. Shareholders approved it on 13 December 2022 and the company left Nasdaq (Business Wire). Billtrust has acquired iController in Belgium and Order2Cash in the Netherlands.
  • HighRadius: independent and venture-backed, with headquarters in Houston, Texas. It raised a $300 million Series C on 30 March 2021 at a $3.1 billion valuation, led by D1 Capital and Tiger Global.

Ownership affects contract length, price rises at renewal and product direction. Ask each vendor about renewal caps and data export terms before you sign a multi-year contract.

Which one fits your use case?

The right pick depends on your ERP, where your invoices must land, and whether customers pay inside the tool. Pick the row closest to your setup.
