Versapay vs HighRadius vs Billtrust in 2026

Three order-to-cash platforms compared by a publisher with no link to any of them: what each one does, how each connects to NetSuite and Business Central, and what buyers report paying.

Versapay, HighRadius and Billtrust all automate accounts receivable for mid-market and enterprise B2B companies, and all three price by quote only. Choose Versapay for collections and B2B payments in one platform, HighRadius for an AI-led enterprise suite with cash application, deductions and credit, and Billtrust if delivering invoices into customer AP portals is your biggest job.

In short

  • Versapay: AR automation plus B2B payments. Its integrations page lists NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Business Central and Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management as native integrations.
  • HighRadius: the broadest suite of the three, covering collections, cash application, deductions, credit, AP and treasury, sold mainly to large enterprises.
  • Billtrust: invoicing, payments and collections for B2B suppliers, with invoice delivery into more than 260 AP portals. Owned by EQT.
  • Price: none of the three publishes a price. Third-party reports run from about $20,000 to $150,000+ a year, plus payment processing fees.

You have three vendor demos booked and three websites that say "request a quote". Versapay names Laticrete and TireHub among its customers. HighRadius says it has over 1,500 clients, Billtrust names Staples and United Rentals, and none of them shows a price. This page puts the facts each vendor documents in one place, so you can go into those demos with the right questions.

Which one fits your business?

Versapay fits a mid-market B2B company that wants collections and customer payments in one platform. HighRadius fits a large shared-services team, and Billtrust fits a supplier whose customers want invoices in their AP portals.

  • Choose Versapay if you run NetSuite, Sage Intacct or Microsoft Dynamics 365 and you want a customer portal, collections, cash application and ACH or card payments in one product. Versapay sells to mid-market B2B companies in manufacturing, wholesale distribution and professional services, and states no revenue or invoice floor.
  • Choose HighRadius if you are a large enterprise with a shared-services finance team that handles deductions, credit reviews and high-volume cash application. HighRadius names SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics and NetSuite among its integrations, sells to enterprise and mid-market companies, and states no floor.
  • Choose Billtrust if your customers require invoices in their own AP portals or in e-invoicing formats such as Peppol, and you also want payments and collections. Billtrust sells to enterprise and large mid-market suppliers and states no floor. It does not name its ERP connectors on its home page, so ask which connector your ERP uses.

For a NetSuite company below mid-market size, none of the three states a minimum, and all three sell through a demo and a quote. Ask each vendor for its smallest current customer on your ERP before you book a second call.

How do Versapay, HighRadius and Billtrust compare side by side?

All three platforms cover collections and cash application, and all three quote prices on request. The main differences are payments (Versapay), suite breadth (HighRadius) and invoice delivery (Billtrust).

Vendors appear in alphabetical order. Features and integrations come from each vendor’s own home, integrations and product pages, listed under Sources. "Not shown on the pages opened" means the pages listed under Sources do not document the feature; it may still exist, so ask the vendor. Prices are last reported by the third parties named in the price section.

How well does each connect to NetSuite?

All three connect to NetSuite, but the documentation differs: Versapay and HighRadius name NetSuite on their own pages, while Billtrust’s NetSuite connection is stated only by third parties.

Versapay lists Oracle NetSuite as a native integration on its integrations page. Versapay also runs the payments side of NetSuite Pay, Oracle’s own card and ACH product. Oracle’s NetSuite Pay documentation says underwriting and merchant service are provided by Versapay, and that NetSuite Pay is available in the United States and Canada only. Setup means installing the NetSuite Pay SuiteApp and passing a Versapay merchant application.

HighRadius names NetSuite among "50+ pre-built integrations" on its home page. In July 2021, HighRadius announced that the SuiteApp for its RadiusOne AR product had received Oracle’s Built for NetSuite status (Business Wire, 13 July 2021). Ask HighRadius which product your quote covers and whether that SuiteApp is the connector you would use.

Billtrust says it has "200+ connectors to ERPs, banks, and financial institutions" but names none on its home page. Third-party directories list NetSuite among Billtrust’s ERP connections. Ask Billtrust to name the NetSuite connector, who builds and maintains it, and which records it syncs.

Two questions apply to all three. Ask whether the connector is a SuiteApp installed inside NetSuite or an external app that syncs over the API, and how often it syncs payments and invoice status. A NetSuite OneWorld account with several subsidiaries also needs a direct answer on multi-subsidiary support. For NetSuite’s own costs, see NetSuite OneWorld pricing and NetSuite editions and modules.

How well does each connect to Business Central?

Versapay is the only one of the three that lists Dynamics 365 Business Central by name on its own integrations page. HighRadius names "Microsoft Dynamics" without an edition, and Billtrust names no ERP on its home page.

Versapay lists both Business Central and Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management as native integrations. HighRadius’s claim covers Microsoft Dynamics in general, so ask whether its connector supports Business Central, Finance & Supply Chain Management, or both. For Billtrust, third-party lists include Dynamics 365 but do not say which edition.

For UK teams on Business Central, this is the credit control and cash allocation layer that sits on top of the ledger. Ask each vendor to name the Business Central connector, who maintains it, and whether it is listed on Microsoft AppSource. For the cost of the ERP itself, see Business Central license types and Business Central implementation cost.

How much do Versapay, HighRadius and Billtrust cost?

None of the three publishes a price; all quote after a demo. Third-party reports put Billtrust at $20,000 to $60,000 a year and Versapay and HighRadius at about $50,000 to $150,000+ a year. Each vendor has a full cost breakdown: Versapay pricing, HighRadius pricing and Billtrust pricing.

All figures are last reported by the named third party; each vendor keeps its current prices hidden. Ask each vendor for a written quote that names the modules, invoice volume, entities, implementation fee and payment processing rates.

HighRadius also offers an outcome-based option. Its announcement says clients pay "$0 in Implementation fees, $0 in Subscription fees until Go Live", then a share of the savings realized (HighRadius news page on outcome-based pricing). Ask how savings are measured before you sign.

The reported ranges differ by about ten times because the Vendr figure for HighRadius rests on a small number of purchases across mixed product lines, while ERP Research reports full-suite estimates. Some figures include payment processing and some do not. Treat every range as a starting point for negotiation. The AR tool and the ERP usually come out of one budget, so see ERP pricing compared for the ledger side.

What do reviewers say?

On Capterra, Versapay and HighRadius both have 4.4 stars, from 29 and 13 reviews. G2 search results show Billtrust at 4.4 from 510 reviews, HighRadius at 4.3 from 237 and Versapay at 4.1 from 95. The HighRadius review and Versapay review cover each in depth, and the two-way pages compare HighRadius vs Billtrust, Versapay vs Billtrust and HighRadius vs Versapay.

Versapay and HighRadius Capterra figures come from the opened listings; Billtrust’s comes from Capterra search results. G2 figures come from G2’s own search results and may have changed; open each link for the current score. HighRadius’s G2 figure is for its "Accounts Receivables" product.

Billtrust has the most G2 reviews of the three. HighRadius’s Capterra score rests on 13 reviews, so one review moves it. Read reviews from companies on your ERP and at your invoice volume before you weigh the stars.

Who owns each vendor?

Billtrust is owned by EQT, HighRadius is independent and venture-backed, and Versapay was acquired by Great Hill Partners in 2020.

  • Billtrust: EQT, the private equity firm, bought Billtrust in an all-cash deal worth about $1.7 billion, announced in September 2022. Shareholders approved it on 13 December 2022 and the company left Nasdaq (Business Wire). Billtrust has acquired iController in Belgium and Order2Cash in the Netherlands.
  • HighRadius: independent and venture-backed, with headquarters in Houston, Texas. It raised a $300 million Series C on 30 March 2021 at a $3.1 billion valuation, led by D1 Capital and Tiger Global.
  • Versapay: acquired by the private equity firm Great Hill Partners in February 2020. Its website footer names "Solupay Consulting, LLC, d/b/a Versapay". Its CEO since March 2023 is Carey O’Connor Kolaja.

Ownership matters for contract length, price rises at renewal and product direction. Ask each vendor about renewal caps and data export terms before you sign a multi-year contract.

How do the three differ in what they do?

Billtrust is built around invoice delivery and payments, Versapay around collaborative AR and customer payments, and HighRadius around an AI-led suite for the whole Office of the CFO.

Billtrust starts at the invoice. It delivers invoices by print and mail, into more than 260 customer AP portals, and in e-invoicing formats including Peppol through Order2Cash. It adds payments with digital lockbox, credit approvals, AI-prioritized collections and cash application.

Versapay centers on a shared portal where your customers view invoices, pay by ACH or card and raise questions. Collections, AI cash application and DSO reporting sit behind the portal. It is the only one of the three that also runs payments inside NetSuite through NetSuite Pay.

HighRadius covers the widest scope: collections, cash application, deductions, credit management and e-invoicing on the receivables side, plus AP automation, financial close, consolidation, cash forecasting and treasury. That breadth is built for large shared-services teams; a single AR team on one ERP should ask which modules its quote includes.

None of the three documents automatic late fees or interest charges on the product pages opened. If your terms carry a late fee, ask in the demo how the charge is raised and posted to the ledger. For how portals and payments fit together, see what integrated receivables means.

Common questions

Which is better, Versapay, HighRadius or Billtrust?

None of the three is better for every business. Versapay fits mid-market teams that want collections and B2B payments in one platform, HighRadius fits enterprise shared-services teams that want cash application, deductions and credit, and Billtrust fits suppliers whose customers want invoices in their AP portals.

How much does Versapay cost?

Versapay publishes no price and quotes by invoice volume; ERP Research reports about $50,000 to $150,000+ a year, with payment processing fees on top.

How much does HighRadius cost?

HighRadius publishes no price; ERP Research reports about $50,000 to $150,000+ a year, and HighRadius also offers an outcome-based option with no fees until go-live.

How much does Billtrust cost?

Billtrust publishes no price; ERP Research reports buyer figures of $20,000 to $60,000 a year, rising with invoice volume, plus processing fees.

Is Versapay a payment processor?

Yes, Versapay processes B2B payments by ACH and card inside its platform. Oracle’s documentation says Versapay provides underwriting and merchant service for NetSuite Pay in the US and Canada. Versapay’s NetSuite Pay pricing page lists $200 a month, 2.9% + 30 cents per card payment and 0.35% + 30 cents per ACH payment, capped at $8.

What is a Billtrust account?

A Billtrust account is usually a login to a supplier’s online billing portal that runs on Billtrust, at an address that starts with secure.billtrust.com. The supplier that bills you sets it up, so questions about an invoice go to that supplier. For the supplier, Billtrust is the AR platform behind the portal.

Who is the parent company of Billtrust?

EQT, the private equity firm, has owned Billtrust since its all-cash deal of about $1.7 billion closed in December 2022, when Billtrust left Nasdaq.

What are some alternatives to Versapay?
